Toyota Corolla Delayed Till 2008

Toyota CorollaIf the all-new Yaris is too small and cramped for you and the current Corolla is too out of date then you’ll just have to keep waiting for your next Toyota economy car. The company has put plans for the next-generation Corolla on hold due to lack of engineers. It seems Toyota is focusing on other more important projects for now and can afford to let the aging Corolla age a bit more.

2007 CorollaThe larger of Toyota’s compact sedans has decided to drop its sporty model for 2007. Corolla lends its platform to Toyota’s Matrix wagon and the related Pontiac Vibe. Corolla offers base CE, sport-themed S, and luxury LE models. All have a 126-hp 4-cyl engine and manual or automatic transmission. The 164-hp XRS version is discontinued. ABS, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags are optional linewide.
