Kia To Launch First Full-Size SUV In 2008
December 18th, 2007
It seems that automakers everywhere will be changing things up a bit for 2008. Many are showing off new vehicles that will amaze us and will take vehicles to the next level. Kia is joining the club and has plans to launch their first seven passenger full size SUV. They will be displaying the new Borrego in January of next year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
2008 Mercury Mariner SUV
July 16th, 2007
Mercury wanted to make sure that everyone stood up and took notice to their 2008 Mariner SUV. Which is why they will show it off in October at the Miami auto show. Well it may not be the vehicle that everyone will be talking about for days, but it still makes you want to check it out and look at all the interior and exterior changes that were made to it.
Wearing all-new sheetmetal, the Mariner now features a much more prominent waterfall grill that apes the single-frame grille treatment found on VW and Audi products. It also has more faceted head- and taillamps with “eyebrow” designs running around the lenses, as well as new wheels, more prominently flared fenders and a higher beltline.
2007 Geneva Auto Show Success
April 12th, 2007
As always the 2007 Geneva Auto Show drew a strong European presence and promises plenty of noteworthy debuts this year. In fact, a few Geneva-bound vehicles were so important the manufacturers just couldn’t wait and have already released info about them. Whatever the reason may be we were glad to see a car show go so well and receive much attention.
Two very different vehicles already out of the bag include the Dodge Demon concept and the 2008 Volvo V70 wagon. As you might expect, the Volvo V70 looks much like the S80 sedan that shares its platform. Nothing radical on the outside, plenty of safety packed into the inside, it’s all typical Volvo.
