2007 Saturn Aura

The 2007 Saturn Aura represents the return of a midsize sedan for General Motors‘ Saturn division. Replacing the discontinued-in-2004 L-Series, Aura shares its basic front-wheel drive platform and wheelbase with the Chevrolet Malibu Maxx hatchback and Pontiac G6 sedan. XE and uplevel XR trim are offered.
All 2007 Aura’s have V6 engines and automatic transmission. XEs have 224 hp and a 4-speed. XRs have 252 hp and a 6-speed with steering wheel paddles for manual operation. ABS and traction control are standard on all. XRs add an antiskid system, which is unavailable on XE. Front side airbags and curtain side airbags are standard, as are OnStar assistance and automatic climate control. Optional are power-adjustable pedals and a “panoramic” sunroof with a tilt-up front section and three rear-sliding panels.
