2008 Pontiac GTO

June 8th, 2006

2008 Pontiac GTOThe new 2008 Pontiac GTO is going to come in the showrooms in 2007 as a 2008 model. With the spy shots we could see hovering on the Internet, the car more or less looks clean. The car is most likely to be built at Hamtramck or Wilmington plants in US.

The future car will be built on GM’s Zeta platform, which is developed in Australia by GM’s subsidiary Holden. The car is delayed as the new GTO is first developed in Australia and then the plants in America will be retooled for the production of the car.

2007 Pontiac Solstice Mallet V8

June 7th, 2006

2007 Pontiac Solstice Mallet V8More power than a Porsche 911 Carrera S, less expensive than a base Porsche Boxster, lighter than a Chevrolet Corvette Z06. That’s a tall order, especially when you add a soft top and a stylish exterior. Too tall, in fact, for any manufacturer, but perfect for Chuck and Lance Mallett of Berea, Ohio. With nearly a decade of experience tuning Corvettes and Cadillacs under their belts and a family racing heritage rooted in the 1950s, these boys get what they want the old-fashioned way-by wielding heavy hammers.
