Holden VE Ute Coming To America

Holden VE UtesThe Holden VE Ute, which is currently in Australia, seems to be making it big or automakers here in the big U.S. wouldn’t even considering bringing it over the waters and on to our great shores(honestly I could do without it). Holden chairman, Chris Gubbey, whetted our appetites when he told us that there were already test vehicles in the U.S. Now we need to find them.

2008 H3 Alpha Series

2008 Hummer H3The Hummer is quickly becoming a popular and sought after vehicle. The largeness of the vehicle is what attracts people to it. Who cares about how much gas you’ll have to put into it. Just being able to dominate the roads is what everyone is looking for. Well now everyone will be happy to hear that General Motors is coming out with the Hummer H3 Alpha. This Hummer will be coming out in the 2008 model year and will be the second vehicle in the exclusive Alpha series.


2008 GMC Yukon

2008 GMC YukonGeneral Motors stated that its new 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid will have the world’s first two-mode hybrid propulsion system in an SUV. The new Yukon Hybrid made its first appearance at the 2006 Los Angeles auto show.

GM says the new Yukon Hybrid will boost fuel economy by 25 percent over the standard V-8 Yukon, though it shares the same V-8 engine. With the hybrid adaptation and GM’s version of cylinder-deactivation technology, the Yukon Hybrid keeps the performance of the standard SUV while boosting fuel economy, GM promises.
