2009 Lexus LF-A

June 20th, 2007

2009 Lexus LF-AThe Lexus LF-A concept was shown to the public in 2005 and ever since then other companies have been racing to compete with it. We were lucky enough to spy the new car when someone taped it on the test track in Nurburgring, Germany. Of course at that point in the production there was no design to it and it was completely bland.

The latest spy photos of a similar prototype on the same track reveal a few more details than before. Up front you can clearly see the detailing of the headlights. With their amber marker lights and single projector beam in the middle, the clusters are significantly different from those of the concept. Other revisions worth noting are the three large air intakes and F1-inspired front airdam.

To celebrate their 40th anniversary Rinspeed has pulled the tarp off a sweet concept car called the eXasis which is a transparent car that allows you to see the road underneath you as well as in front of you. While the eXasis looks like it is made from glass it acctually has a floor made of Makrolon produced by Bayer MaterialScience AG.

2010 BMW Z9 Concept Cars

January 29th, 2007

2010 BMW Z9It is said that the more highly anticipated the car, the more difficult it is to get any advanced information on it, let alone a picture. However, sometimes we are lucky enough to see those pictures, such as the upcoming BMW Z9.

Though the body panels on this prototype probably have some small German village wondering what happened to all of its trash cans, there is much we can deduce about the successor to the limited production Z8, thought by many to be one of the most beautiful cars in BMW’s illustrious history.
