Jeep Gladiator Concept
July 26th, 2007
Jeep has been finding ways of improving their vehicles and making them bigger and badder then ever. Which is where the Gladiator concept comes in. The Gladiator is a cross between the Wrangler and a pick-up truck. The wheel base is ultra-long coming in at 138 inches. This makes room for the large side mounted spare tire, something that most jeeps keep on them.
This new concept was bestowed with the name of Gladiator as a remembrance on the Jeep pick-ups in the 1960’s and the military looking Jeep trucks of the 1950’s. But don’t think that this vehicle is all bark and no bite. Beneath that big monster hood lies a 2.8 liter diesel, which means that the Jeep will sound as macho as it looks.
