CEO At Chrysler Reassures Workers
February 25th, 2007Chrysler Group Chief Executive Tom LaSorda has spent the past few days calming down the nerves of employees and dealers as rumors have been flying about a possible sale of his company. LaSorda sent a blanket e-mail message to workers on Wednesday saying that he knows there have been a “frenzy of rumors” since last week’s announcement that German parent DaimlerChrysler AG is seeking partners and strategic options for its U.S. operations.

We love studying new concept cars. Especially if they tell us a thing or two about future designs that are bound to adorn our favorite automobiles. One such concept is the Mazda Hakaze, making its debut at the Geneva show, which demonstrates how a future Mazda crossover might look to us. We’d love the Hakaze even more if it hadn’t so quickly followed the lower-slung Nagare and Ryuga concepts from the Los Angeles and Detroit shows.

February 21st, 2007With the success of the Honda Element and Toyota’s Scion division, other auto manufacturers have gained the desire to take another look at their small car offerings. And like Honda and Toyota, they are looking for ways to pack quite a bit into small vehicles that don’t cost much yet have strong appeal for younger buyers. Mazda is toying with a concept car called the MX-Micro Sport.
