2007 Audi A4
December 11th, 2006
Audi is finally bringing its entire A4 lineup in time with the new and enhanced versions of the drop-top Cabriolet for 2007. While the current generation of Audi’s popular A4 compact sedans and wagons debuted in early 2005, carryover versions of its open-top Cabriolet models continued down the line through the 2006 model year, keeping up with the company’s product life-cycle management. The most recently updated A4 isn’t all-new, but it does represent important improvements over the previous generation, the most visually notable difference being the addition of Audi’s new bold front grille.

2007 Audi Q7
November 24th, 2006
Audi’s first SUV, the Q7, debuted in June 2006 as a 2007 model and emphasizes sporty handling and performance. For those keeping track, Jaguar is now the only major luxury brand selling vehicles in the U.S. that doesn’t offer an SUV not that it should. The midsize Q7 is loosely based on Audi’s midsize wagon, the A6 Avant. It falls between the A6 and full-size A8 sedan in pricing.
The Q7 seats up to seven passengers in three rows. The second row can be adjusted forward for more cargo space or back for added legroom, and the second and third rows also have split seat backs that fold flat to increase cargo room. Audi says the seats can be arranged in 28 different ways.

Audi R8 Goes Diesel
November 7th, 2006
I am sure everyone has heard about the Audi R8 supercar. A report has surfaced that makes this beauty even more intriguing. There is speculation that the R8 may be the first diesel supercar. Admittedly, the proof is far from absolute. In fact it is outright conjecture. It goes like this – a Gallardo was spotted in testing a few months ago that sounded more like a diesel than a typical Gallardo. That fact and speculation that the market conditions would be right for a diesel car have led some to conclude that a diesel R8 is imminent.
