2007 Aston Martin
October 5th, 2006
The legendary British marque will be adding to the sportiness of the beautiful DB9 with the introduction of the DB9 Sports Pack. Designed to improve both high-speed body control as well as steering response, the Sports Pack is for the DB9 owner that loves to drive with enthusiasm. The Sports Pack replaces the standard wheels with new five-spoke forged aluminum wheels that not only give the DB9 an even more unique look, but also reduce the unsprung weight of the vehicle. The new wheels weigh about 1 kg less than standard wheels.

September 22nd, 2006
It might not have as much sway as J.D. Powers or Car and Driver’s 10 Best, but UK-based Superbrands Limited has made a business of reporting on what the world thinks of different brands.
Since July 2000, Aston Martin has undergone a transformation under the guidance of CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez and now boasts one of the sexiest automotive line-ups in the world. Since 2001 they’ve also run what they call CoolBrands to honor what’s hot and happening. As part of that venture, they host a party to celebrate the year’s coolest.
James Bond’s Aston Martin DBS
September 21st, 2006
There’s not long to wait until we see a brand new Bond with actor Daniel Craig slipping into 007’s tuxedo. He’ll also be sliding behind the wheel of this, the new Aston Martin DBS. We spotted one, wearing DBRS9 badging, testing at the Nurburgring.
The standard DB9 on which the new car is based has been shaken and stirred. The already impressive 6.0-litre V12 has been uprated by a not inconsiderable 80bhp, taking total output to 530bhp. At the same time the car has shed weight and height losing close to 200kg through the use of lightweight materials and a stripped down interior and sitting 25mm closer to the road.
