2006 Ford Mustang California Special

In 1968, Ford introuced several GT-based Mustangs as regional cars to the market. One of these rare and classy cars was the Ford Mustang GT/CS, or the California Special Mustang. The low production numbers and pleasing aesthetics make these GT/CS Mustangs from 1968 one of the most sought after models to date.
Now that 2006 is here and the rebirth of the retro-style muscle cars is underway, there could be no better time for the new GT/CS to make its debut. Ford Motor Company has released new information about a 2007 model Ford Mustang California Special edition. The order code for this option will be (54C), and both coupe and convertible models will be available.
Although power and performance increases are not included for the California Special model, the appearance packages and badging creates another emotional bond for the baby boomers to their cars.
