2005 Ford Mustang Roush
Saturday, January 14th, 2006
Jack Roush, known for his love of Mustangs in the air and on the ground, owns several professional racing teams from 34 NASCAR champions to more than 300 racing victories. Incorporating his knowledge of speed, power, and style into his new 2005 Mustang models, Jack Roush is able to bring the aftermarket community in tune with new Mustangs.
For the first time in many years, Roush has made a Mustang without his signature side exit exhaust, a decision he reluctantly made because of clearance issues with the new frame Ford designed for the new Mustangs. Mr. Roush stated: “There were only a couple of inches of clearance for us to work with on the rocker panels. Instead of risking the design with functionality issues, we decided to enhance the rear bumper treatments.” So with this note, the new Roush Mustangs take a similar look to that of the 2005 Ford Mustang Saleen.
